Who do you admire most and why: Not any one person in particular, but I admire anyone who has a dream or passion and goes after it and doesn’t give up until they achieve their goal. As for racing, I always looked up to Larry Phillips, who was a local race car driver who won numerous regional championships and races. He was just a racer. He ate, slept and breathed racing, which is my philosophy as well.

Who had the biggest influence on your decision to become a professional racecar driver: I’d say my dad has been my biggest influence. My dad used to race and always encouraged me and supported my decision to want to race. He calls me everyday to wish me luck and encourage me to be the best person I can be.
